My Kitten banged His head. please help?

He didnt necassarily do it himself.

He was on the kitchen table my mother was in a bad mood and annoyed at the cats constantly being on the table n counters. The other cats are older.



So She pushed him of the table, not realizing how light he was he went flying and banged his tiny fragile head off of the tiled floor, and let out a loud scream.



He didnt move afterwards, it looked like he was trying to see. I was crying and picked him up. When i let him back down he started walking into everything. I was very mad at my mother as she tryed to blame the kitten for being on the table when clearly it was her fault he is the baby.



So now he cant see clearly. He is walking fine and seeing the basics. He cant really focus he can just look like when he was 4 weeks old. I had a string playing with him, and i was hanging it in front of his eyes. he didnt notice it was there he was just gazing.



And when i try to give him water he dives right in and sniff it up his nose.



His pupils are dialted to a certain point and dont change. Also they look pale and gazey if thats a word.

Im very sad, i dont know whats happened. I will take him to the vet when hes due his needles. in 2 weeks.

as for ur mother, i understand she doesn't like the cats on the table or counter, but he's a baby and domestic violence is never good. when she was a baby, did someone ever kick her away cause she did sthg she wasn't supposed to do, if she got kicked because she did that??? don't think so. she's a witch and i'd be mad to hell with her, and god forbid should my cat have sthg, id blame her for the rest of my life. WITCH!

he has a concussion, probably brain damage. you have to take him to a vet. you also should not allow your mother to have cats. i mean, if you care for animals at all, you won't let her hurt one again. people who are rough on animals shouldn't be around them. period.
I recommend taking him to the vet ASAP. It sounds like the poor thing could have some major head trauma and possibly fluid in the brain. Or, he could have been just temporary knocked out and have a kitty-concussion. Either way, I vote vet.
I would ask the vet if there was any way that they could move up the appointment. Your kitten isn't in good condition. He needs medical attention. He might have a bad head injury. You definatly need to get him to a vet!
I would say your mom has gave your little kitten brain damage, maybe you need to call a local rescue group to take some of your kittys so your mom doesnt harm them anymore. I'm so sorry she did that :(your kitty needs to see a vet!!!
your cat really needs to see a vet. he couldve hurt his skull more than you or anyone thinks. there could be a crack in his skull or even blood could have seeped out. i doubt this is something that will clear up.
I fell so bad for you and ESPECIALLY your kitten I would take him to the vet ASAP keep a close eye on him he still could die it is criticsal at his age! x(
2 weeks mite be too long, you should take the kitten in because it can have server brain damage or die.
It sounds like he has a concussion and might die. He needs a vet ASAP!!!

Your kitten NEEDS VET INTERVENTION IMMEDIATELY.........it sounds like he could be experiencing swelling of the brain. If you can get him to the vet ASAP, the vet may be able to give him a steroid shot to help decrease the pressure on his brain, and he COULD recover.



If you do NOT get him some help ASAP, you may LOSE your kitten!! He CAN DIE....from this.



I once had a kitten get his head mashed in a recliner, and had to rush him to the vet ( unconscious ). The vet gave him a steroid shot, I took him home and put him to bed. In a couple of days, he was back to normal.........but, if I hadn't gotten him to the vet as quickly as I did.......he might not have survived AT ALL...........



PLEASE get your kitten to the vet NOW. Try to explain to your mom that it's URGENT that he be seen %26amp; evaluated.......for the sake of his LIFE.......

I hate it when people write here, %26quot;go see a vet right away%26quot; when we post a problem regarding a pet's health... Like we don't know any health issue can be solved by a doctor.

So you might feel that way... But in your case, I will say one thing I never did here on yahoo answers before : PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE THE POOR THING TO A VET RIGHT NOW, if you don't want him to die. He is so very little still and his internals are very fragile. Most likely he has a brain damage right now, and there's nothing you can do to treat it at home. If you wait longer, there's a very likely chance that he will die!

And you mother deserves one big fat slap on the face.

How can a person be so cold and mean to a tiny animal and also be so reluctant to the damage she has done. Unbelievable!
