Can you go from a dark blonde/light brown to a yellow blonde in one salon visit?

I went to the hairdresser for a consultation (talking about how I wanted my hair etc.) and she said that it's impossible for anyone to change hair colors in just one salon visit. She said the only way you can change your hair color is to get a full head of foils (where they color chunks of your hair, like thick highlights almost), and then keep going back and getting going to get more again and again and again. I don't believe her tbh. I think she was forcing me to go the foil way just so she could make more money, because I know you can change your color in one day, by bleaching then tinting/coloring it. (Right?)



I'm going to go to another salon anyway, but I was wondering, can you change your hair color in one salon visit (not including getting your roots redone), or is the only way by getting foils over and over again?

actually you can but it would take a really long process because it has to do in parts if you want it done in one salon visit because you would have to keep watching the hair because your body heat is what changes the colour.



You can go to someone else who is willing to do the job and not someone who looking 2 get fast money cuz i know foils are expensive
if you have a good hair colorist then they should be able to get the color you want with one visit. if they dont then they are not very good
Yes, you can absolutely get your hair completely dyed. It's stupid that you hairdresser told you this. and i agree with you, she was just trying to make more money. i really like the color your hair is now, and the color you are going to get. the one your going to get is about the color of my hair right now. So yes, you should maybe try going to another hairdresser.
