Corey Hart dyed his hair and beard from very light blond to black.

Brewers also shaved their heads to rally last season. And they each grew mustaches as well.

It's funny how these superstitions actually seem to work, must really play on the mind.

If they did they ain't telling anyone, if they're smart. When I coached little league the older kids in their mid to upper teens would yell out give him the eyes, show him you mean business but all that did was make the batter and me laugh, so they probably don't do it in the pros.



In the pros. they have pitching machines that can duplicate the exact pitch of any pitcher in the big's so you would think that more batting practice would help. Then they get into that situation facing that pitcher live and it still comes down to being able to guess the next pitch that's coming, just like before that machine existed.



Yeah, lucky pants, lucky hat , socks, bats, gloves, beard, mustache, that starts young, very young since most baseball players start playing when their five. Hard to shake old habits like from when your four or five.



On 4/25/09 Jimmy Rollins who had been slumping all year was looking around in the clubhouse for a bat with hits in it, by listening to the bat, I don't know what he heard but he got a hit in that game.

Brian Wilson, our closer, grew out his hair a bit and made it into a mohawk. He hasnt pitched alot yet (due to the Giants lack of wins) but when he has pitched, he has pitched well.



He had an amazing Spring Training, by not giving up a single earned run. And he had like a 4.60 ERA last year, so I'd say hes improving.

Giambi, but when he did it he was with the Yanks. He grew out his mustache and wore a thong (I'm not sure if that was serious but it is said that he and Damon both did).
