How come a fish rots from the head but government starts at the grass roots?

Senator Obama is now saying we are the ones who will implement the change. Whoa Okay- now about all this tax evasion by the super rich. About the shitty health care. About this ridiculous war on terror which had nothing to do with Iraq. About the bank CEO's who have fucqued up our economy but are still not in jail.....There's the Green Light- Let's go, citizens.

semper vigiles vigilant! To facili8 change/reform we have to get involved in politics ourselves. Join a party..reform it from within or better still, form ur own. It's no good every 4 yrs or so to just 2 wear funny hats and whoop and holler and wave slogans at conventions. Form like minded groups, organise..demonstr8 en masse. By all means change the status quo in the interest of gr8er fairness for all..but make sure u have credible and practical strategies to replace it!

What I think he had in mind was simply getting your vote -- then he and his comrades will take care of the rest of it, at your expense of course. Votes and taxes come from the grass roots. Lucky us.
They both stink when they rot, fortunately I live far enough away from Westminster to enjoy the clean air of the countryside.
