Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a Sims diamond for a halloween costume?

My BF doesn't want to dress up for halloween but I convinced him to be a Sim so all he has to wear is a green diamond.



So how should we make it, and how do we get it to hover? Also, if it could have a light in it that could change from green to red that would be AWESOME.



I have some ideas in my head, but I'd just like to hear someone else's ideas?

Use a wire coat hanger or other stiff wire. Make a ring for your head with the rest pointing up to mount the diamond on. Make sure you have at least 4 inches over your head, plus enough above that to mount the diamond.



Then make the diamond out of construction paper.



As for color changing, you would need colored lights that are battery powered. Maybe the d battery xmas lights would work if you can get alternating red and green. Then you could use white construction paper to make the diamond. Put multiple pin holes in it and cover with wax paper. That should give you green and red hues. Especially if it is in a darker room.
