JW Convention in NJ will there be a new light?

I cannot wrap my head around the changing %26quot;truth%26quot; of the Watchtower. All the old school JW who told me this generation after 1914 would see the end beleived it with their heart and soul. Now that has changed. One of the applealing ideals about JW was it was never changing, now it changes constantly to justify itself. Are than any JW over the age of 50 who feel duped? How can you justify this is TRUTH. Truth doesn't change and the true prophet of jehovah has egg on its face? What can you say to me to tell me otherwise? The poor kid who dies at 15 is an example. The watchtower changed its organ transplant as a new light back in the 60's. when they change the blood light will anyone be upset thier kid died? with all the new light it could and probably will happen.

I was brought up from birth into a staunch J.W. family (and I'm older than 50, but don't tell anyone). My parents became witnesses in the 1930's (before I was born, I hasten to add) and they were told, and firmly believed, they were that generation alive in 1914 who would see the end to this %26quot;wicked system of things%26quot; and the introduction of %26quot;the new order%26quot;. They died disappointed.



I felt so duped back in the 1970's (when all that was expected to happen in 1975 failed to materialise) that I voted with my feet. I don't know about new light - more like they're groping around in the dark - but I do know that it is impossible for God to lie and God is not in the business of predicting wrong dates.

There will either be 'new light', or the light switch will get switched on and off so that 'old light' becomes 'new light', yet without the majority of JWs realising it's just an old idea dressed up a bit differently. You and I are unlikely to hear about it, though, because the Watchtower society has two versions of its 'Watchtower' magazines now. There are the public versions, shown to the public, then there are the JW issues with their study articles. Those are the articles that spell out 'new light'.



As for the death and lives damaged due to the ever-changing 'blood' policy, there already exists an anonymous group within the JWs, JWs for Reform on Blood. But JWs are told never to look at their web-site. They are also told that there's nothing but spiritual darkness outside the Watchtower organisation. Oh when, oh when will JWs be encouraged by their leaders to turn only to Jesus Christ, who alone is the light of the world?
We all need to pray hard for JW's to see the real true light. They are so blind, so deceived. Perfect example of how satan works.
Maybe there will. Maybe there won't. Why do you care?
