BMW people HELP!!!!!?
i dont know i would like to help but i really dont know!whyyyyyyy!!!!
I would advise you pop in to your local BMW dealer and ask them if you could have a look at their TIS instruction on how this is done, this program is available to all BMW dealers and gives detailed info on repair. You may also find this info by searching the E36 forum.
Hope this info helps
I have a two-part answer.
To replace bulbs, press down on clip and remove bulb cover,
pull off wires/connector from bulb, disconnect steel wire clamp and pull out bulb, then replace removed parts.
To actually remove the headlight assembly:
Remove air filter housing including air mass sensor, disconnect cable connectors to light assy. (round one should be turned counter clockwise, square one is unclamped first then separated/pulled away from each other), lever out from top retaining clip of signal light assembly and pull out forward signal light assy., remove screws of top radiator cover then remove cover, brace/hold expanding rivets at the back of the headlight assy. then remove screws, pull out headlight assy.
To install replacement, start with the lower screws while bracing expanding rivets, check that lower gap between light and bumper cover stays at 2.5 mm, top edge of light should be approximately 1.5 mm inside hood edge when hood is closed, then adjust headlight aims.
To adjust headlight aim, turn 2 adjusting screws behind light assy. Middle screw is for vertical, outer screw is for horizontal.
Have fun!!!
