2001 Pontiac Grand Am?

Does anyone know how to change a blown head light bulb? For some reason it seems more difficult then it should be for a friend of mine. Does it need to be taken to the garage? Thanks!!!!

you will probably have to take the whole headlight loose or out to get to the bulb as there isn't much room to get your hand behind the headlight.

many times you will be able to find older model owner's manuals at the library...

some cars need the front grill removed to get to the area where the front lights are...

Most headlights you can reach your hand behind the headlight and twist the bulb socket and pull the bulb out. Look on the outside of the bad bulb and find the number printed on it and go to a wal-mart or autoparts store and buy a news one. You shouldn't have to go to a ship to pay someone for 3 minutes of work.
