It should be somewhere around your drivers seat. Depending on the car, it should be anywhere near the driver's seat, on the bottom of the dash, bottom of the door, and it should say %26quot;hood%26quot; on it, or something like that. If you know where the lever to open your gas tank is, then it should be near the area.

look on the left side under your dash sit in the seat and reach down it should say hood
sit in the drivers seat look to the left by your shin theres a lever

(that commonly breaks off, if this happens there will be a cable you will need to pull with pliers) to pull to release the hood

next to the front of the car,the hood will pull up slightly then slide your fingers in the center feel around untill you find the release then lift
You look under the dash on the driver side and there will be a latch you pull and that will pop the hood up. But you are not done yet! Then you have to go to the front of the hood and there will be another little latch right under the hood. If you can't find it look at the gap between the hood and the bumper and pull up on the hood and you'll see what's holding it down. Then push this latch to the side I think to the left and it will open. Also for my 96 civic I can't get my headlights out unless I pull my bumper off so good luck!
if all else fails check the owners manuel..if there is no latch on the inside..check the hodd...or better yet get the oil changed.and have them change the light they usally do that service ..
there should be a latch inside the car on the lower left-hand side of the driver's seat, or actually ON the driver's seat, like where you adjust the reclining of your seat. Pull on that, then get out and you'll notice your hood will be somewhat ajar. slide your hand inbetween the hood and the car body and search for another latch or cable. You'll have to pull on that to fully pop the hood.
