How do I change a head light in my 96 ford escort?

One light went out and we bought both bulbs to replace, my husband is not a car guy so we are not sure how to change it out. I don%26#039;t have a manual for the car. It looks like we pull it out but we are afraid we may break something. There is what looks like a tab that needs to be pushed in but we are not sure. Can someone explain how to get the old one out please?|||There%26#039;s usually not a lot of room to do it, so you%26#039;re going to need to stand there and hold the light and let him be frustrated at you.

You%26#039;ll access the light from behind, in the engine compartment. You might have to remove the battery or something to get a little extra room. There%26#039;s going to be an electrical connector that will either twist about a quarter to half a turn counterclockwise and pop out, or a clip that you%26#039;ll press on. Sometimes they%26#039;re tight from not having moved for a long time, but you won%26#039;t do any damage as long as you don%26#039;t force it. It%26#039;s just a little frustrating for a while.|||Take the car to the Ford Dealer and have them explain it to you, or have them do it for you!|||take the old one out and put the new one in
